Tottenham are reportedly considering a loan offer for Skriniar, according to journalist Ben Jacobs. However, PSG’s preference, if they decide to part ways with the defender, is a permanent transfer.

“Spurs are looking at an initial loan, but PSG want Škriniar’s departure to be permanent,” Jacobs shared on X. As he pointed out, PSG’s stance is clear—any move for Skriniar must be permanent if the club has its way.

If Škriniar makes the move to the Premier League, it would need to be a sale, not a loan. PSG have already reached the maximum number of loaned players abroad for this season, with FIFA setting the cap at six. This is why Randal Kolo Muani’s loan to Juventus has faced complications.

PSG have already loaned out Xavi Simons (to RB Leipzig), Carlos Soler (to West Ham United), Nordi Mukiele (to Bayer Leverkusen), Renato Sanches (to Benfica), Cher Ndour (to Besiktas), and Juan Bernat (to Villarreal). This marks a shift from last season, when FIFA allowed up to seven loaned players.
