Tottenham Hotspur have reignited their interest in Randal Kolo Muani, according to Foot Mercato.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, but talks over a permanent move have collapsed.
Juventus are keen to keep Kolo Muani but cannot afford PSG’s demand for a full transfer this summer.
The France international joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in a €95 million deal two years ago but failed to settle.
He found it hard to fit into Luis Enrique’s system and was allowed to leave temporarily in January for more game time.
Tottenham are looking to improve their squad and have already signed Mohammed Kudus this summer.
Manager Thomas Frank wants more firepower and believes Kolo Muani can offer pace, movement and goals.
Juventus would prefer another loan with an obligation to buy, but PSG are only interested in a permanent sale. This has allowed Spurs to step in.
Kolo Muani is open to a move after falling out of favour with the Ligue 1 giants. Tottenham are in a strong position to submit an offer that could match PSG’s asking price.
The 26-year-old is a quick and direct forward who is comfortable playing in multiple attacking roles.
Kolo Muani’s strength, acceleration and finishing ability make him a threat in the box and on the counter-attack.
He thrives when making runs from deep and is effective at breaking defensive lines with his pace and awareness.
If Tottenham succeed in bringing him in, he could provide the cutting edge needed for a Champions League challenge.
