Top insider reveals Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez transfer stance, shares update on his future

Real Madrid have tracked Enzo Fernandez but Chelsea sources have insisted he’s not going anywhere according to reports.
The Blues are set for another busy summer, and the club could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players.
Chelsea face a critical window with the Blues looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to help improve Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Whilst Chelsea are looking to sell players they will also be desperate to keep hold of their top stars, with Fernandez falling into that category.
The 24-year-old is having his best season since arriving from Benfica for a then British record of £106m in January 2023.

Fernandez has scored six goals and registered 11 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions, and he’s really improved when it comes to arriving in the box.
The Argentine has also developed into a leader this campaign and has captained the side on a number of occasions this season.
However, Fernandez has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but Mail Sport have reported Chelsea sources insist he’s going nowhere even if the Spanish giants were to step up their interest.
Chelsea have insisted Fernandez is a key part of the project and it was reported he turned down a move to Atletico Madrid.
Fernandez’s midfield partner Moises Caicedo has emerged as a target for Saudi side Al Nassr, with midfield arguably the strongest area of the squad.
Chelsea have Andrey Santos returning after a brilliant loan spell at Strasbourg, whilst Dario Essugo will arrive from Sporting Lisbon this summer as a back-up to Caicedo.

Fernandez may divide opinion but Chelsea are a better side with him in it, but they need to get Champions League football soon if they want to keep these top players for many years to come.
