West Ham will complete the signing of Soungoutou Magassa today after a late move from Eintracht Frankfurt.

In what has been an 11th hour drama in east London, amidst a disastrous start to the season with discontent growing, a deal for the Monaco midfielder looked to have been thrown into doubt however the club now look set to complete the signing.

The player is understood to have now completed his medical and media work, so an official announcement is due today.

West Ham also still have plenty to do in what is left of a rather shambolic transfer window for the club.

Mateus Fernandes still remains a top target and West Ham hope to get back into serious talks with Southampton over a possible deal, although they are not expected to be easy, with the Saints still holding out for around £50m for the midfielder.

It’s also been reported by ExWHUEmployee on The West Ham Way that the club have been offered the chance to sign Victor Boniface, which may well prove to be a late move this window.
