We have the resources to shop in a much higher market than our rivals, we need to start using them to push away from any potential challenge…

With the summer transfer window now in full swing we don’t just want new additions to the squad, we need them and rightly so.
Kudos to the club for bringing in Kieran Tierney, Ross Doohan, Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand, with Hyato Inamura soon to join them. But we need more, and with the exception of KT and Benjamin Nygren, the other additions are not names who can be considered first team regulars.
We need to add at least three quality additions to our squad and more if any of our influential players leave for elsewhere.
Those additions will need to first team ready with the centre of defence, midfield and centre forward our top priorities. To bring in quality will require serious money and that is something we aren’t short of, far from it.

Celtic have never been as financially strong as they are today.
The main threat to the defence of our title will come in the shape of our rivals from Govan, and they seem to be shopping at the low end of the market at this current time. We have the resources to shop in a much higher market and it’s high time we used that to our advantage.
A few big name signings will further fuel the feel good feeling amongst the Celtic supporters and send out a message that we are looking to remain the most dominant side in the country for quite some time yet.

And of course if we want to improve on our Champions League exploits then these new players will be needed. No-one knows that more than Brendan Rodgers followed by every supporters.
