Tottenham are way down there in the league right now but they will be a very unpredictable opponent to face, you will not know what kind of Spurs you will get when you play them these days, and I know that many of their fans are unhappy with how things have gone this season under manager Ange Postecoglu.

The game will be played at Stamford Bridge under the lights, so Chelsea’s players should be up for this one in front of their own fans, and there has been a real big selection boost leading up to the game.

Palmer, Jackson, and Madueke in training on Monday

Last week we saw the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Nicolas Jackson all returning to training after recent injury issues, and that was great news.

But the hope was that they would continue training this week and had no issues on their return as we lead up to Thursday. And thankfully, all three of them were spotted in full group training again on Monday.

So again, having these three fit and firing ready to go later this week will be a huge boost for Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea team.

Palmer was not out for long but is so important, but Madueke and Jackson have been out for a chunk of time and have been missed in the attacking areas of the park.
