Young Senegalese defender Mouhamed Lamine Ndiaye joins FC Alverca to bolster their defensive line.

Mouhamed Lamine Ndiaye has officially signed with FC Alverca on July 22, 2025. As a free agent, the Senegalese defender will now play in Portugal, wearing the colors of the club newly promoted to Liga Portugal.
Lamine Ndiaye joins FC Alverca, the latest addition to Portugal's top flight, after spending two years developing in France. Having arrived in 2023 from the Senegalese club Guédiawaye, a partner of AS Saint-Étienne, the central defender honed his skills with Saint-Étienne's reserve team. He gradually secured his spot at the heart of the defense and featured in most matches for the young Greens during the past season.
However, the 19-year-old did not renew his contract with Saint-Étienne when it expired last June. Now a free agent, he embraces a new challenge by signing with FC Alverca, who have been promoted to Liga Portugal for the 2025/26 season.
