Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has explained how Chelsea can still be involved in one transfer situation this summer.
There is plenty going on still of course, and we got the news late last night that after some tough negotiations, Chelsea and Ajax came to finally agreeing a fee for Jorrel Hato to join the club this summer, something that has now been reported by multiple outlets last night.
But as well as that, Chelsea are still trying to pull off a number of new signings including Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, with Fabrizio Romano having the latest out on that one yesterday.
But there is another situation brewing up that Chelsea could still find themselves very involved with and it could lead to some more moves.
Nicolas Jackson in Chelsea preseason.
It appears that striker Nicolas Jackson is not exactly for sale at Chelsea, but it’s also become clear that they will listen to certain offers should they be big enough.
So Jackson isn’t actively up for sale, but he could certainly still leave Stamford Bridge in the final four weeks of this summer transfer window.
Jackson could still very much be involved in some final striker moves this window.
“If United get Benjamin Sesko, Nicolas Jackson could be an option for Newcastle. If Newcastle get Sesko, we know Chelsea appreciate Alejandro Garnacho so there could be some solution there. The striker domino will be driven in the next days. Important to remember, Chelsea are happy to keep Jackson and are still requesting important money.”
So there you have it, one to watch for sure.
