The final balance of the preseason for Chivas Femenil | OneFootball

Everything is ready for a new semester with Chivas Femenil, which promises to be full of excitement with the start of a new Liga MX Femenil tournament and the first edition of the Summer Cup, tournaments in which our Chingonas will seek to be protagonists and fight for the titles.

As part of their preparation for both tournaments, the team coached by Joaquín Moreno played several friendlies, in which they obtained valuable lessons that will be useful for the start of the soccer activity. Chivas Femenil played a total of four games, and below is a breakdown of what happened in each of them.

Chivas Femenil 1 vs 4 FC Barcelona- The Red-and-Whites kicked off their preparation with a duel against Barcelona, which was played at the Akron Stadium and won by the European Champions 1-4. This match provided many lessons for Chivas, as in addition to getting to play against the best in the world, they were able to show some very interesting defensive skills.

Chivas Femenil 1-1 Atlas- There was a Clasico Tapatio in the preseason and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. As was the case against the Spanish team, 'Quino' gave minutes to the entire squad and was able to observe the younger players, who showed good things and will be looking to earn a regular place in the team.

Chivas Femenil 3-2 Necaxa- The Chingonas' penultimate friendly was against Necaxa in Verde Valle and they won 3-2. Dana Sandoval and Viridiana Salazar were the main stars of the match, in addition to scoring goals.

Chivas Femenil 3-1 Santos- To close the preparation for the AP24, the Rebaño received the team from the Comarca and beat them 3-1. Against the Guerreras, we saw a much more refined version of the Red and White players, who improved their performance throughout their training sessions and friendly matches in the preseason.
