While the real reasons may never be revealed, certain sources believe it was due to Barça’s inability to provide registration guarantees.

Fortunately, it is not the end of the world for Barcelona and they can still consider other alternatives. However, it would be in the club’s best interest to secure operations quickly and smoothly to avoid any unnecessary and unwanted possibilities.

One option that remains on the table for the club to consider is that of English forward Marcus Rashford. The 27-year-old winger is already expected to leave Manchester United this summer, and reliable sources state that Barcelona is the club that he is giving priority to.
