The Athletic: Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is not convinced by two of his players

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is reportedly not convinced by two of his current players in his Chelsea squad, per a report from The Athletic today.

I guess this will be why Chelsea are linked to wanting to sign players in their position, and have also just recalled one player in their position as well.

EXCLUSIVE! 5 full backs Chelsea have placed top of their shortlist for transfer move soon!

Trevoh Chalobah is back at Chelsea and he trained back at the club for the first time again yesterday. He is expected to come straight into the squad for Monday’s game against Wolves in a shock turn of events that saw The Blues trigger a recall option in his season long loan deal at Crystal Palace, where he was doing very well.

So Chelsea clearly feel they need reinforcements at the back, and Chalobah is one of them. They’ve also been linked with wanting to sign Marc Guehi from Palace, but that now looks unlikely for this month at least.

So what does that mean for the likes of Axel Disasi and Tosin Adarabioyo? Well, it looks like both of them could soon be sold as well, as long as Maresca is in charge.

Maresca does not rate Disasi or Tosin

According to the report mentioned above from The Athletic, Enzo Maresca has not been entirely convinced by Tosin Adarabioyo or Axel Disasi.

Disasi has been linked with a move away this month, and apparently Tosin is also now wanted by Brighton in a move that I can actually see happening now after this news surfaced.

If Maresca doesn’t rate either player and is the long-term manager at Chelsea, then surely both will just have to end up being sold sooner rather than later? And if Brighton are interested, Chelsea should really see what money they could get for Tosin right now.
