Chelsea are reportedly looking at right transfer targets this summer as they look to sign in two different positions.

Chelsea beat Los Angeles FC 2-0 in their Club World Cup opening group game on Monday night in what was a very strange and subdued atmosphere in front of just 22,000 people in a huge stadium.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ready to push on Jarrad Branthwaite & player set to push for the move!

It was far from vintage Chelsea but in the end they just got the job done and three points on the board to set them up for a good starts.

The goals came from a lovely Nicolas Jackson assist to Pedro Neto to finish in the first half. And then new signing Liam Delap also provided a superb assist for Enzo Fernandez to run into the box and tap in to score.

Gittens appears the priority

Chelsea have also been linked with Lyon’s Malick Fofana’ as one such alternative for that left wing spot.

Other targets in mind though

A report has claimed the Blues have ‘discussed’ a possible loan-to-buy move for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who is expected to leave this summer.

Chelsea have been linked and also retain an interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers’, while The Guardian’s report claims they’ve also ‘reached out to Brighton about Joao Pedro’ and have ‘looked at RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons. They’ve also been heavily linked with Hugo Ekitike but have apparently been put off the latter by Frankfurt’s £84m valuation’.

But the Blues are also keen on signing Mohamed Kudus, with multiple reports coming out on that one too.
