This Gas pairing have struggled to made an impact under Iñigo Calderón, and look likely to see the exit this summer.
While League One survival remains the paramount focus, Bristol Rovers boss Iñigo Calderón will surely already have his eye on further curating his side come August, but with outgoings almost as important as incomings, who is most likely to make way?
No summer window this century has gone by without Rovers letting ten-or-more players leave the club, be it permanently, or on loan.
While it is unknown exactly how Director of Football George Friend and the Gas' new Spanish boss will tackle the upcoming off-season, given the Pirates' struggles this campaign, it would be incredibly surprising if they didn't follow suit.
Below are two players who, while not necessarily lacking in talent, have been identified as potentially unhappy at the club, and would welcome a move away come June.
20-year-old wide-forward Shaq Forde joined Rovers from Watford in late August, and arrived with some fanfare. Having scored nine times on loan at Leyton Orient the previous season, he was the top-scoring teenager in the entire division in 2023-24 by some distance.
Despite this, his time in the blue and white quarters has been difficult to say the least. Since the new year, marked by the arrival of his new Basque manager, Forde has collected as many red cards as he has league starts, with supporters beginning to see that, while the talent is clearly there, his body language suggests he is simply not enjoying his time at the club.
While his age may dictate that the Pirates will be willing to be patient with their number 28, particularly as his contract runs until 2027, Forde's exit will likely emanate from the player's perspective, as his previous record clearly suggests he can shine in the right setting, and the Hertfordshire-born forward may be at risk of stunting his overall development during crucial, formative years.
Like Forde, the 30-year-old forward arrived at the Gas on the back of an impressive goal-scoring season in League One, scoring 12 times for Exeter in 2022-23. However, as is proven time and time again, proficiency on one side doesn't guarantee anything elsewhere.
With just one league goal in 33 games during his first season, the former Jamaican youth international was sent on loan to Notts County in the division below.
A similarly underwhelming five-month spell saw him sent back to Bristol early. It was assumed that Brown would be sold on in the January window, though injuries in forward positions caused him to be kept on in January as a matter of contingency. Despite these significant personnel issues, he has failed to secure even a minute of first-team football since his return, making the bench just once.
Jevani Brown will almost certainly part ways with Bristol Rovers in the summer. The question being, just how far does he drop down the pyramid?
