Erik ten Hag has broken his silence and sent a message to Manchester United fans after he was sacked on Monday.
The Dutchman was relieved of his duties after a poor start to 2024-25, with the 2-1 Premier League loss to West Ham United on Sunday proving to be the final straw.
Ten Hag has since been replaced with Ruben Amorim, with the 39-year-old Portuguese set to arrive later this month and oversee his first game in charge of Man United against Ipswich Town after the international break.
Ten Hag left the Red Devils with two trophies and he has now sent a message to the supporters via SEG on X (formerly Twitter).
The former Ajax boss was in charge of 128 games between May 2022 and October 2024, winning 70 times, drawing 23 and losing 35 games.
