West Ham are set to complete a stunning double signing of Mateus Fernandes & Soungoutou Magassa.

As we reported earlier, there was confidence of a deal for Magassa to be completed today, whilst we still felt that Fernandes was a very real possibility ahead of the closure of the window.

It appears the club though have played things very much under the radar in terms of Fernandes, with it understood that the player carried out his medical last night.

We believe there is a strong chance that both players will be officially West Ham players by tomorrow or even this evening, and therefore be available to play in our Premier League game against Nottingham Forest next weekend.

There are talks ongoing for other players too, with it understood to us that the club are also aiming to land a striker and a new goalkeeper at a minimum.

The start to the season appears to have prompted the club to seriously up the ante and give Graham Potter every chance of success at West Ham this season & beyond. There are absolutely no plans to sack the manager.
