EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea add new name to the new striker pursuit – plus updates on Benjamin Sesko, Liam Delap, Victor Osimhen and more!!

Enzo Maresca frustrated Chelsea fans once again with a heavily rotated starting lineup in such an important game in the race for Champions League qualification, and then he annoyed them even more with some of the excuses he came out with after the game, even blaming the weather!

The Blues boss was also frustrated though, pointing out the fact that his attackers are currently not doing enough and has called for more goals from them all.

Maresca and his players must keep going now and onto the next game later this week in the Conference League as they look to try and win some silverware this season.

Attentions will soon turn to the summer transfer market and one situation the club need to sort out is whether they will buy Jadon Sancho permanently or not.

Romano has dropped his latest info on the Sancho situation, and he says:

‘Chelsea expect the very best from Jadon Sancho until the end of the season, before making their final decision.

‘Sources guarantee that Sancho’s still very happy at Chelsea, despite his recent poor form and criticism. He’s committed, focused on doing his best for the club, happy with his time spent at Stamford Bridge and trying his best to help Chelsea at a crucial stage of the season.

‘He’s not planning in any case to return to Manchester United, something seen as “almost impossible” by those close to the player – and also those close to Manchester United.

‘It all depends on Chelsea and they haven’t told Man United about Sancho being sent back to them. So the story is considered absolutely open, and the final games could prove important, crucial to deciding Sancho’s future at Stamford Bridge.’
