Eldor Shomurodov departed Roma earlier today.
The 1995-born Uzbek striker has been sold to Başakşehir on loan with an obligation to buy.
The Turkish club will pay €3 million for the loan, with a mandatory buyout of €2.7 million, for a total deal worth approximately €5.7 million. A 10% buy-back clause is also included in the deal for Roma.
On the day of his farewell, the striker wrote a farewell message on his social media profiles: “Thank you, Roma. The time has come to say goodbye to a club that has given me so many unforgettable memories.
Wearing the Roma shirt was an honor, a journey filled with goals, battles, and special moments with incredible teammates, staff, and fans.
I am grateful for every minute on the pitch, for every goal celebrated, and for every lesson learned under great coaches.
Roma will always have a place in my heart.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting me at every moment. A new chapter begins, but these memories will stay with me forever. With love and respect.”
