Manchester United flop Antony is edging closer to an exit from the club in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian winger has been under-fire for his poor performances throughout his time at the club.
Following his big money move from Ajax under former manager Erik ten Hag, the Brazilian has failed to establish himself at the club and his poor return in front of goal has been heavily criticised by the fans.
Man United have finally decided to allow Antony to leave the club this month and La Liga club Real Betis have made progress in signing the 24-year-old winger.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Man United star has agreed all the details about his move to Real Betis and official confirmation of the move will come soon.
While providing the update on the transfer on his X account, Romano wrote:
“Antony has agreed every detail of his move to Real Betis on loan until the end of the season.
“Manchester United and Betis are set to seal the deal this week with one final round of talks to agree on small details.
“Here we go, soon.”

It is not a surprise to see Man United deciding to move on Antony. Although they would have wanted a permanent move for him which would have generated transfer funds for them.
Under manager Ruben Amorim, Antony has been given regular chances to show his talent and perform but he has failed to settle in the Premier League.
The Red Devils are interested in a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens but they face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
