Saudi club ‘prepared to offer’ €350m for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

Saudi outfit Al-Ahli are giving real consideration to a world-record transfer offer for Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr.

That’s according to transfer insider Ben Jacobs, who has this week provided an insight into the situation.

Vinícius, for his part, remains locked in ongoing negotiations with the Real Madrid board, over the terms of a contract renewal.

The talks have been taking place for some time now, with a view to extending the Brazilian’s stay beyond its current close in the summer of 2027.

And yet, to date, no final agreement has been reached between the parties.

As much is understood to have given hope to those in the Saudi Pro League that Vinícius could potentially be drawn away from the Santiago Bernabéu.

To the point that, as alluded to above, Al-Ahli would be willing to smash the world transfer record to make a deal for the winger happen.

As per a report from Ben Jacobs of talkSPORT:

‘Saudi chiefs are prepared to make a world record offer in the region of €350 million.’

Not only that, but:

‘Vinícius Jr has also been offered around €1bn, including bonuses, across a proposed five-year contract sent in writing as a non-binding bid.’
