Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford completed a loan move to Aston Villa during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and he needed to leave in order to play regularly. The England International has not been at his best and he is clearly not a key player for Ruben Amorim.

Rashford cannot afford to sit on the bench at this stage of his career and he needed to play regularly. He will look to get his career back on track at Aston Villa. The England International is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three, and he could be an asset for the West Midlands club.

It remains to be seen whether he can regain his form and confidence at Aston Villa.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has questioned the hunger of the player after he decided to move to the West Midlands club. Keane has revealed in an interview that he expected the player to move abroad to a bigger club. Furthermore, he labelled the striker’s decision to move to Aston Villa as surprising.

It will be interesting to see how the move works out for the player.

Rashford was linked with clubs like Barcelona during the January window as well. A move to the Spanish club would have been an exciting opportunity for him. However, the player decided to join the English club in the end. It remains to be seen whether he can get back to his best and help them finish in the European qualifying spots.
