Roma edge closer to Bailey and Sancho double agreement | OneFootball

While Roma are keeping Manu Koné, they are still progressing rapidly for both Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Leon Bailey of Aston Villa.

Multiple sources reported this evening that the club had decided to put a stop to the negotiations with Inter for the sale of Koné.

The suggestions that they were selling him to raise funds for the two new signings were also rebuffed, because the focus is on bringing in the attacking wide men.

Sancho has already agreed personal terms with Roma, including a significant pay cut to €4.5m net per season plus bonuses, and Manchester United seem ready to accept the €23m proposal.

His agents are reportedly in Italy for direct talks with Roma over personal terms.
