Roma CEO Lina Souloukou is facing major backlash from the club’s supporters in the aftermath of Daniele De Rossi’s dismissal.

The Greek executive was made out to be the decision-maker in De Rossi’s sacking by the media and fans took to the streets to display their anger with several banners hung all over the city.

As a result of this increasing tension, Lina Souloukou will have to move around the city with police escort.

According to Adnkronos, the Giallorossi CEO – who ended up in the crosshairs of the fans after De Rossi’s dismissal – has been assigned a protection service.

After the protests, the chants and the banner against her outside Trigoria, the security authorities of the capital decided for this measure of protection.

Lina Souloukou has already been using this service for 48 hours, as have her two young children aged 3 and 8, who were escorted to their respective schools.
