A major update on the future of Real Madrid star Rodrygo has this weekend surfaced online.

This comes amid confirmation that the Brazilian has come to the decision to stay put and fight for his place in Spain’s capital next season.

Frontman Rodrygo has of course taken his place centre stage in the headlines across Europe for several weeks now.

This comes after a series of reports were forthcoming in the media, suggesting that the 24-year-old was seeking a new challenge this summer.

A whole host of clubs, in turn, have been tipped as potential landing spots for Rodrygo, chief among them Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest update on the situation to have surfaced on Saturday is anything to go by, then such suitors look set to be left disappointed.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Real Madrid have asked about Rodrygo’s desire and ideas for the future. The Brazilian’s response has left no room for doubt. He is determined to continue wearing the white shirt despite all the rumors surrounding his future.’
