This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They note that it will depend on Inter’s Champions League fate, as Fiorentina have qualified for the Europa Conference League round of sixteen.

Fiorentina and Inter have a major headache with their postponed Serie A fixture.

Earlier this month, La Viola and the Nerazzurri kicked off a league match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. However, just fifteen minutes in the teams stopped playing.

This was due to a medical emergency for Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove, who has now fortunately recovered.

That has left a very open question regarding when Fiorentina and Inter will play the rest of the match. Until they do, they will each have the question of a game in hand lingering in the air.

The fact that both Fiorentina and Inter play in Europe this season has made it difficult to schedule their makeup match.

The two teams must find a date in midweek where neither is active in either European or domestic cup competitions.
