According to Matteo Moretto, Milan have inquired about Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson and Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Milan will sign a new centre-forward in the 2025 summer transfer window, as Igli Tare revealed in June.

Transfer expert Matteo Moretto adds two more names to the Milan wishlist, reporting that the Rossoneri have asked for information about Jackson (Chelsea) and Mateta (Crystal Palace).

Moretto says that Milan mentioned Jackson during negotiations for Archie Brown, a promising left-back under contract with Gent, who shares the same entourage as the Chelsea striker.

Moretto warns that Chelsea will only sell Jackson for an important offer this summer. Milan are aware that signing the Senegal international would be costly, but they still wanted to be informed about the conditions of a deal.

Jackson is a long-time target for Milan, as the Rossoneri had previously attempted to sign him from Villarreal before his move to Chelsea in 2023.

Mateta is another striker monitored by Milan, according to Moretto. His contract with Crystal Palace expires in June 2026, but he’s a player who matches Milan’s needs for a new centre forward.

Moretto says Milan will intensify talks with a new striker between the end of July and the beginning of August.

Several centre-forwards are said to be on the Rossoneri’s agenda, including Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Boniface.
