Inter Milan flop Mehdi Taremi could reportedly continue his career away from Europe, with Flamengo emerging as potential suitors.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInterNews, the Iranian striker has become an option for the Brazilian powerhouse.
Flamengo were inches away from signing Fiorentina outcast Lucas Beltran.
However, the player has rejected the transfer, forcing Filipe Luis’s side to expand their search for reinforcements.
And the name of Mehdi Taremi has reportedly appeared in their notebook.

With Flamengo on the lookout for a new center-forward, Taremi has emerged as a low-cost solution.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu has deemed the 33-year-old surplus to requirements.
Therefore, Inter have put the ex-Porto star up for sale and are ready to let him go in a cut-price deal.
Yet, like Beltran, Taremi may not be enthusiastic about swapping Europe for South America.
Instead, the player has made it clear that his primary intention is to play in one of Europe’s top-five leagues next season.
