Inter Milan have reportedly withdrawn from the race to sign Atalanta star Ademola Lookman after careful reassessment.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Serie A runners-up have canceled their pursuit of the 27-year-old.

Despite spending most of the summer chasing Lookman’s signature, Inter have finally admitted defeat.

Indeed, Atalanta’s unpreparedness to negotiate the Nigerian’s exit has caused the Nerazzurri to pull the plug on the transfer.
