Nicolas Jackson is not thought to be a priority for Aston Villa despite links with a move to to Villa Park according to reports.
There have been questions marks about Jackson’s future following the arrival of Liam Delap from Ipswich, and he now faces genuine competition for the first time in his Chelsea career.
Speculation about his future went into overdrive following his red card against Flamengo, although it’s believed Chelsea aren’t actively looking to sell the striker.
Jackson has been linked with both Juventus and Napoli in the last week, whilst there’s also thought to be interest from the Premier League.
It’s believed Jackson has no intention of leaving Chelsea, with the Senegalese under contract until 2033 at Stamford Bridge.

Jackson has been linked with Aston Villa, with Unai Emery said to be impressed by his development since arriving from Villarreal.
However, it doesn’t seem like Jackson will be reunited with Emery this summer, and Mail Sport have reported the Senegal international isn’t a priority for Villa.
It appears unlikely Jackson will leave this summer, with Chelsea said to want more than £50m, and it’s thought Italian sides will only be able to offer around £40m.
With Jackson suspended Delap has been handed a huge opportunity to establish himself as the number one striker going into next season.

The 22-year-old scored his first Chelsea goal in the 3-0 win against ES Tunis earlier this week, and is once again set to lead the line in the last 16 tie against Benfica on Saturday evening.
Gabby Agbonlahor has backed Delap to become Chelsea’s first choice striker, whilst the England under-21 international is also set to start the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace, with Jackson also suspended for that game.
