Atalanta seem to have finally softened their stance on Ademola Lookman, whose transfer to Inter Milan is now nearing completion.

According to Corriere Bergamo via FCInterNews, La Dea are no longer holding out for their €50 million asking price.

Inter’s second bid for Ademola Lookman has fallen short of Atalanta’s request.

However, a written proposal has seemingly made Ivan Juric’s side change their position in ongoing talks.

Therefore, the transfer could soon materialize.

Inter submitted a €45 million offer for the 27-year-old yesterday.

Yet, they may have to raise their offer by an additional €3 million to finalize the deal.

Indeed, Atalanta will reportedly offload the Nigerian forward for a figure close to €48 million.

Meanwhile, Inter are waiting for La Dea’s answer with bated breath.

Despite being confident of signing Lookman, they’re preparing for different scenarios.

One such would see Nico Gonzalez arrive at San Siro from Juventus.

However, that will only be the case if they fail to land Lookman.
