“Boruc also leaves Hibs, ending his two-year spell with the Club. He made three appearances for the Hibees, competing in the Scottish Premiership and the UEFA Europa Conference League.”

Hibs signed Max Boruc in a hope that the young stopper would emulate his uncle’s quality between the sticks. However, the decision has been made not to offer the player a new contract, leaving him free to find a new club.

Celtic signed Artur Boruc from Legia Warsaw, initially on loan, and the Polish Internationalist would go onto be a key figure for Gordon Strachan’s 3IAR winning team, impressing domestically and in Europe.

Artur Boruc made 221 appearances for Celtic

Boruc made 221 appearances for Celtic, earning a number of plaudits as well as winning three League titles, two League cups, and one Scottish Cup. Boruc was nicknamed the ‘Holy Goalie’ by supporters due to the fact he blessed himself before he entered the goal, which obviously upset Rangers supporters for some unapparent reason.
