A lot has been said about Vinicius Jr. and his future at Real Madrid with interest coming from Saudi Arabia who are ready to splash big money on his signing.
At the same time, Los Blancos have been working to renew his contract which expires in 2027 with reports even suggesting that an agreement had been reached and would be made official after the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, according to The Athletic, Vinicius Jr.’s entourage continues to strongly deny any agreement with Real Madrid over a new contract.
Negotiations, though, are understood to be ongoing between the two parties, with the Real Madrid superstar’s camp demanding a total pay package worth €30 million per year, including an unprecedented renewal bonus.

Previous reports had suggested that the agreement between the two parties would see Vinicius’ annual salary get raised to around €20 million, but it appears that the player’s entourage is insisting for a higher pay.
After his starring display against RB Salzburg, the Brazilian winger spoke about the renewal with the media and said:
“I have a two-year contract left… until 2027. I’ve always said I want to stay here my entire career and make a great history with this team.”
Vinicius remains one of Real Madrid’s most important players despite having had an up-and-down season. It is imperative for the club to renew his contract.
However, whether they are willing to break the club’s wage structure to secure his extension remains to be seen.
