Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has recently been in the spotlight due to several high-profile transfer rumours.
In fact, a report from El Chiringuito TV revealed that last summer, Manchester City made a tempting offer, a blank cheque, to the young star.
Despite the massive financial incentive, though, Rodrygo turned it down, reaffirming his deep commitment to Real Madrid.
In recent days, Rodrygo has once again attracted attention, this time from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal. The club presented a mind-boggling offer, reportedly worth €300 million in total.
This offer includes a salary of €140 million, a deal that would be too good for most players to refuse. However, despite the enormous sum, Rodrygo has rejected the offer, sticking firmly to his belief in his role at Real Madrid.
It’s not just Al-Hilal that has been interested in Rodrygo’s talents. During the last summer transfer window, he was sought after by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Rodrygo made it clear that his heart was set on continuing his journey with Real Madrid.
Rodrygo’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028, and it comes with an astonishing release clause set at €1 billion.
This clause highlights just how valuable he is to the club. Despite the high-stakes offers from Saudi clubs and European giants, Real Madrid have no intention of letting him go, and Rodrygo has shown no interest in leaving.
Rodrygo has worked hard to establish himself as a key player for manager Carlo Ancelotti, and his role in the team has only grown stronger.
With both the player and Real Madrid focused on their long-term partnership, it is clear that the forward is committed to his future at the club.
The interest from other clubs, while flattering, hasn’t shaken his resolve to remain in Madrid, and the club is equally determined to keep him. The message is clear: Rodrygo’s future lies with Real Madrid.
