It has been yet another successful campaign for Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti as they have already secured two trophies and can add a third one before the season ends.

Indeed, having won the Spanish Super Cup back in January, Real Madrid secured the La Liga title this past weekend and will be handed the trophy this Sunday.

Real Madrid will now play Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals tonight, with a final date against Borussia Dortmund on the line.

Given Los Blancos’ history and success in the competition, it is only logical to have them as the favourites for tonight’s clash. And if they prevail against Bayern, Carlo Ancelotti & co. would be seen as the likeliest to go all the way.

Real Madrid stars to get a bonus

Now, MARCA has come forward with a report stating that Real Madrid stars could be in line for a special bonus come the end of the season.

As per the report, should Real Madrid go ahead and win the UEFA Champions League to add to the La Liga and Super Cup triumphs, each player will be rewarded with a bonus of €1.4 million gross.

It would be €500,000 more than what the Merengues’ stars pocketed after completing the league and UCL double, along with the Super Cup, during the 2021/22 season.

The increase in the bonus handouts compared to what was paid two years ago is due to the almost total recovery of the club’s income and the arrival of new sponsors.

As per the report, victory in La Liga will mean that Real Madrid will earn around €53 million. This amount is subject to several factors and the money will be spread over the next four seasons.

Furthermore, winning the Champions League would guarantee an income of around €150 million, with the Spanish capital club having already earned over €100 million from the competition this season.
