Real Madrid star sends warning message to Barcelona & Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has today been afforded a warning message, by way of a leading member of the defensive ranks at arch rivals Real Madrid.

As much comes in relation to the remarkable success being enjoyed by the attacker, at such a young age.

Lamine, for his part, is of course in the thick of one of the most memorable explosions onto the world stage of football in recent memory.

At just 16, the gifted winger is already an undisputed starter for one of Europe’s biggest clubs in Barcelona.

Not only that, but he has established himself as a full international, too, considered first-choice on the right flank by Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente.

Only set to get better over the years to come, it is therefore safe to say that Lamine, as things stand, has the world very much at his feet.

One individual, however, of the opinion that his compatriot must do his utmost to pace himself, and stay grounded, comes in the form of Dani Carvajal.

Speaking in an interview with Diario AS, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid star Carvajal was asked for his take on the player with whom he shares the right wing for Spain.

And the stopper made use of the opportunity to send a heartfelt warning to Lamine, Barcelona, and the RFEF alike:

“When I was 17, I was winning the Champions Cup in the youth team. (Lamine) is a fairly prepared boy, but he must be looked after a lot in any case, both in the RFEF and I imagine in his club. A boy so young must carefully measure the paths he must make, so that he does not get tired of football too soon.”

Carvajal continued:

“I’m telling you, keeping your feet on the ground is not easy. Having all the spotlights directed at you when you’re so young is not easy. You have to keep him under control, focus on what he has to do and I’m sure he will do very well.”
