Real Madrid star in complete future U-turn | OneFootball

The total turnaround in the future of a member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Thursday been confirmed.

This comes amid confirmation that the decision has been made for Dani Ceballos to stay put through the transfer deadline.

The name of former Arsenal man Ceballos has of course dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital across the week to date.

As much comes after the 29-year-old initially appeared to be on the verge of an imminent move to France, with Olympique Marseille.

Just when it seemed as though the deal was tied up between the parties, however, Ceballos himself pulled the plug.

This culminated in suggestions that the Spaniard may be headed elsewhere, having received a superior offer.

As alluded to above, though, this, in fact, will not be the case.

As per a report from Marca, the Real Madrid hierarchy now consider the Ceballos case closed for the summer, with the midfielder set to stay put with Xabi Alonso’s squad for the season ahead.
