Real Madrid will not look to midfielders offload Eduardo Camavinga or Dani Ceballos this summer. The club has made a firm decision: both will remain part of the squad.
This claim comes from journalist Anton Meana on SER Deportivos, where he detailed the situation of the Frenchman and the Spaniard following speculation that both might be on the club’s transfer list.
Regarding Ceballos, manager Xabi Alonso and the Real Madrid board have already informed him that they have no intention of selling. While interest from Real Betis is always present, the midfielder is now aware that the new manager counts on him.
Ceballos has seen the direction Alonso wants to take with the team’s tactical structure. Although he is not among the first four midfielders in the pecking order, he has accepted the situation.

One of the reasons Ceballos is not for sale is that, according to the report, the club sees no one on the market who offers his profile at a similar price.
Selling him for €15–20 million only to replace him with a player who costs twice as much makes little sense. Letting him go without bringing in a replacement would mean losing a useful squad role.
The same applies to Eduardo Camavinga. Despite rumours that Premier League clubs are targeting the Frenchman and Real Madrid’s general desire to make a major sale to balance the books, the stance has been firm: he is not for sale under any circumstances.
There have been questions about how Alonso plans to use the Frenchman – as an interior, a pivot, or even at left wing-back. Concerns over his disciplinary records also exist.
However, the decision has been made – he will not be sold.
With that, both players are expected to complete the midfield group alongside Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, and Arda Guler.
