The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid have responded to the ongoing speculation surrounding the future of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The subject of Ancelotti’s future has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.
This comes amid suggestions that, amid Real Madrid’s recent hit-and-miss form, the club’s headmaster could soon be sent on his way.
Some outlets, in fact, recently went as far as to suggest that Blancos director Santiago Solari was being lined up to replace Ancelotti for the remainder of the campaign.
From here, an all-out assault on the signature on Xabi Alonso could be kicked into gear.
If the latest word stemming from Madrid on Sunday is anything to go by, however, then no such move will be forthcoming, at least for the time being.
As per a report from Marca, the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu have once again moved to vehemently deny any plans to replace Ancelotti this season.
This comes with confidence in the Italian to get things back on track remaining total.
