The noise surrounding Carlo Ancelotti and his potential appointment as the Brazil national team manager from next year is starting to cause some concerns within the Real Madrid camp.

The Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) president Ednaldo Rodrigues has been very vocal about their pursuit of Ancelotti and even appeared to confirm the Italian’s appointment starting next year in a recent interview.

However, his repeated comments in the media about the matter have led to some concerns about Ancelotti and his motivation at Real Madrid heading into the new season.

However, it is only natural for Real Madrid to have some concerns especially given the constant chatter around the subject in the media.

Ancelotti had some problems in his second season back at the club and with a new, youthful squad and without Karim Benzema, the club believe there could be more issues in the upcoming campaign as well.

And, in case of a bad start to the season, the club will not rule out the possibility of sacking Ancelotti even before his contract expires in 2024.

Ancelotti has always maintained that Real Madrid are his priority and had ambitions of retiring at the Santiago Bernabeu. But, sources close to the Italian indicate that the dream of ending his career with Los Blancos have faded and there is a possibility of him moving to Brazil.

At the same time, though, if things go well next term and he is offered a new contract by Real Madrid, the 64-year-old would be more than happy to sign it.

The situation is far from ideal, given the noise around the manager’s future before the start of the season. And a misstep in the early parts of the campaign could end up costing Ancelotti his job.
