Real Madrid are set to travel 130 miles Northwest tomorrow evening to take on La Liga newcomers Real Valladolid at 8pm at the Estadio Municipal José Zorilla.
Carlo Ancelotti published his 21-man squad this afternoon for the clash, making several changes from the side that took on RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The biggest change is the absence of Vinícius Jr. who is still serving a suspension in the league but was eligible to play in Europe. Brahim Diaz is likely to take his spot in the team.
Elsewhere, Lucas Vázquez returns after missing out on the squad for midweek, while youth players Jacobo Ramón and Lorenzo Aguado are missing from the squad after featuring in the squad that faced Salzburg.
Long-term injuries continue to affect Dani Carvajal and Eder Militão who will both miss the remainder of this season, while Eduardo Camavinga isn’t expected to return to fitness until February.
Real Madrid will be going into the match knowing a win will keep them at the top of the table, regardless of what happens when Atlético Madrid host Villarreal earlier in the day.
