Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool might have a clear path to win the Leny Yoro sweepstakes as Real Madrid has put restrictions on their pursuit of the talented French defender.

The 18-year-old played in 44 matches for Les Dogues this 2023-24 season, showing he’s more than ready to take on the role of starting center-back.

With only a year left on his contract, though, Yoro could be sold this summer if he doesn’t sign an extension. As a result, the Ligue 1 club will likely try to secure a transfer fee rather than risk losing him for free.

Despite Real Madrid being in on Yoro, they’re not willing to break the bank for him. Le Parisien reports that the Spanish side are not optimistic about signing Leny Yoro and are unwilling to spend between €50 million and €60 million on him.

It will be interesting to see if either Liverpool or PSG can take advantage of this situation. Earlier this week, information from Sports Zone revealed that there’s an agreement in principle between the Parisians and LOSC for Yoro for a little over €50 million.
