Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Dean Huijsen last summer as part of their defensive rebuild, but the Spanish center-back ended up joining AFC Bournemouth. If PSG goes after him again, they won’t be the only ones in the mix.

Even after adding Willian Pacho, PSG could still be looking for another center-back this summer, especially with Milan Skriniar expected to make his loan move to Fenerbahçe permanent.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all keeping an eye on the 19-year-old.

Huijsen has impressed in the Premier League with his steady performances, earning praise and attracting attention from top clubs. If PSG decides to make a move, they’ll face strong competition, and any club looking to sign him will likely need to meet a high asking price.

What’s the latest on Dean Huijsen?

Huijsen seems set on joining Real Madrid, but there’s a big challenge: competition from other top clubs. Eduardo Inda, on El Chiringuito de Jugones, has shared the details of the situation.

“Dean Huijsen is outstanding,” Inda, director of OK Diario, said (h/t Bernabeu Digital). “He’s gotten offers from PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich, and there’s interest from a team he really wants to join: Real Madrid.”

However, that competition means that even though his release clause is set at €50 million, a bidding war could complicate things for Real Madrid.

“Bournemouth bought him for €15 million, and now they want to make a profit. They’re asking for €60 or €70 million for the kid, and that could be the stumbling block for his move to Madrid.”

While it seems like a move to Madrid could be in the cards, Bournemouth are looking to cash in on the young defender, who keeps impressing with his performances, and they’ll sell him to the highest bidder.
