Real Betis seal €6 million defender deal | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Betis have late this week tied up a deal to add to the club’s options at the back.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Nazinho as the player primed to link up with Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.

Nazinho, for his part, is a 22-year-old defender, who chiefly operates at left-back.

The Portuguese was snapped up by Belgian outfit Cercle Brugge on a permanent basis last summer, following a successful season-long loan stint with the club.

And Nazinho’s exploits over the course of the 2024/25 campaign evidently proved enough to turn the heads of those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Real Betis.

This comes amid confirmation that the talented full-back, after notching a goal and four assists in 22 league appearances last season, is now all set to take his talents to Spain.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Real Betis have agreed deal to sign Nazinho as new left-back from Cercle Brugge, here we go! Deal in place for €6m plus add-ons and sell-on clause.’
