A third consecutive league win for Milan Futuro. After the victories over Campobasso and Sestri Levante, the Rossoneri beat Ternana 1-0 thanks to Quirini's goal in first-half stoppage time and Nava's penalty save with eleven minutes to go. It's a win that arrived after a solid display where Coach Oddo's side showed real cohesion to add another three points to their tally. It was a performance full of sacrifice from the Diavolo, who caused problems for Ternana (second in the table) by getting the ball forward quickly.
It was Quirini's third goal of the season in our shirt, which he's worn since January, as he finished off Camarda's precise assist with a diving header. Vannucchi made a big save to deny Ianesi, but the most important stop of the day was produced by Lapo Nava, who kept out Cicerelli's 79th-minute spot-kick. It's the third time that Nava has kept out a penalty this campaign. Now, attentions turn to the next one: on Monday 21 April, the Rossoneri will take on Gubbio in a 15:00 CEST kick-off away from home. It'll be another crucial match as Milan Futuro look to retain their Serie C status.

MATCH REPORT It was a lively affair from the get-go, with Alesi testing Vannucchi in the fourth minute. Nava saved efforts from Curcio (22') and Casasola (37'), while Cicerelli (38') also threatened for the visitors. In the 39th minute, Curcio headed narrowly over from a corner. Having managed to contain Ternana, Milan Futuro almost took the lead through Ianesi, who forced Vannucchi into a fantastic save following an excellent counter-attack orchestrated by Alesi. After Sandri had headed narrowly wide (42'), the Rossoneri took the lead in first-half stoppage time through Quirini, who beat the goalkeeper with a diving header from a Camarda cross. 1-0 at the break.
After the restart, the Rossoneri held firm as Ternana tried to find an equaliser. Nava saved a shot from Curcio, while, at the other end, Ianesi narrowly missed the target with a right-footed strike. With the tempo having dropped and fatigue setting in, Oddo sent on Bozzolan, Turco and Magrassi to provide some fresh legs. The away side were sending a lot of balls into the box, creating moments of tension. In the 78th minute, Branca was penalised for a foul in the box, but Nava foiled Cicerelli from the penalty spot. Lapo was once again decisive in the 93rd minute as he tipped Capuano's header onto the post. Milan Futuro held on to come away with a big win!
