Luis Enrique faces several selection dilemmas ahead of this fixture. Presnel Kimpembe remains sidelined due to a virus and is expected to be out for a few more days, while promising youngster Senny Mayulu continues his recovery from a thigh injury and is not expected back until late August.

Ukraine defender Illia Zabarnyi, a marquee summer arrival from Bournemouth, made his debut last week and is likely to keep his place at the heart of defence after impressing coach and fans alike.

Luis Enrique is expected to maintain his preferred 4-3-3 setup, blending experienced names with emerging talents. On the opening weekend, PSG surprisingly left out Dembele, Kvaratskhelia, and Doue from the starting side.
