Bradley Barcola stepped up in Kylian Mbappé’s absence to open the scoring for the Ligue 1 champions with a surging run and finish in the 19th minute.

Les Parisiens soon extended their advantage courtesy of another Barcola burst into the penalty area before teeing up Yoram Zague to convert.

But the hosts halved the deficit as the interval approached when hesitant defending led to Mohamed-Ali Cho sweeping home inside the box.

Their comeback hopes were dealt a blow in the final 15 minutes as Niçois Bard was instantly dismissed for a rash challenge on Barcola.

Francesco Farioli’s side remain fifth after failing to make up ground required to seal a Champions League qualification spot before the final weekend.
