Paris Saint-Germain are readying themselves to make a bid for Bernardo Silva, as uncertainty grows around the player’s Manchester City future.

Bernardo Silva’s future at the Etihad Stadium has been up in the air for some time, with the 28-year-old previously engaged in advanced talks with Barcelona during last summer’s transfer window.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was unable to confirm whether Saturday’s FA Cup triumph over Manchester United would be the Portugal international’s final game in the competition, when asked about the midfielders future during his pre-match press conference.

Despite of Barcelona’s admiration, PSG have kept their eye on the City midfielder, as a potential replacement for Lionel Messi, whose rumoured departure from the Parc De Princes was recently confirmed.

With the Parisians looking to replace the Argentinian legend, the recently crowned French champions have reportedly renewed their interest in Bernardo Silva.

Santi Aouna claims that a contract proposal has already been made to Bernardo Silva, following negotiations with the 28 year-olds agent, Jorge Mendes.

PSG are also due to submit a bid to Manchester City for the midfielder in the coming weeks, according to the journalist.

Silva is contracted at the Etihad Stadium until 2025, though could be one of two midfielders to depart the Premier League champions this summer.

Club captain Ilkay Gundogan has also been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, and despite talk of a contract extension, the German is yet to extend his seven-year-stint in a Sky Blue jersey.

The market for a replacement midfielder is also crowded, with Jude Bellingham poised to move to Real Madrid and Liverpool closing in on the signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton.

Manchester City meanwhile have been linked with Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, with the Croatian reportedly keen to swap Stamford Bridge for the Etihad Stadium.

Bernardo Silva has made 54 appearances for Manchester City this season, and looks set to start Saturday’s UEFA Champions League Final against Inter Milan in Istanbul.

The midfielder played a crucial role in the Blues reaching the final, scoring twice against Real Madrid in the semi-final second-leg at the Etihad Stadium last month.
