One player who now looks more and more likely to leave Chelsea this summer has already been written off at Manchester United.

The Blues are looking to get busy in the market now as we reach the latter end of the long summer transfer window.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea make contact with Manchester City to sign yet another player from them!

There are so many rumours and links going around suggesting that Nicolas Jackson could be sold by Chelsea, and with more latest reports yesterday, it’s looking more and more likely to happen this summer.

Fabrizio Romano also had a pretty big story out late last night saying that several clubs are now starting to make a move to sign Jackson from Chelsea this summer, so this one really is warming.

Jackson to United?

One of the most linked clubs for Jackson, along with Aston Villa, is Manchester United.

Personally, I see a Jackson move to Villa being much more likely that United. However, it is clear that the latter are also interested as well and it could be something that happens.

Already written off at United

From what I have seen online, many United fans would not back a move for their team to sign Jackson, and a couple of pundits don’t see it working either.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour said on the rumours:

“The problem you have is the lack of number nines and the price goes up. But with some of the strikers Man United have had over the years, I don’t think he would get anywhere near the top category.”

Alan Brazil agrees, he says:

“He [Jackson] can’t finish. Well he can finish but he needs a lot of chances to score.

“And I would say he’d get more chances but Chelsea are a better side than Man United so I don’t see it working. You never know and I wish him well but I don’t see it working.”
