A photo no doubt set to bring a collective smile to the faces of Barcelona fans across the globe has on Friday surfaced online.

This comes after youngster Lamine Yamal showed his support for Blaugrana teammate Frenkie de Jong.

Midfielder De Jong has of course spent the last couple of months establishing himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Hansi Flick.

Looking back to his brilliant best on both sides of the ball, the 27-year-old has once and for all put to bed the questions surrounding his commitment to the cause in Catalunya’s capital.

Such excellence has given rise to new-found support on the Barcelona faithful, amid widespread calls for De Jong to be rewarded with a new contract.

And as alluded to above, late this week, the former Ajax man has received further support on the part of a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s star-studded squad.

As showcased in the photo below, Lamine Yamal was today spotted sporting a Netherlands jersey with De Jong’s name printed across the back:
