Manchester United have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of their Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on the road next weekend.
The Red Devils have had several injury concerns over the last 18 months and they have been particularly hampered in the defensive department.
Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are all anticipated to return in the coming weeks, but the club have suffered a fresh issue.
Lindelof has picked up a hamstring injury during Sweden’s Nations League game against Slovakia tonight.
The centre-back started on the right side of the back three, but he was substituted in the 26th minute. He needed assistance to get off the field.

The £31 million signing faces an uncertain future with the Red Devils. His current deal expires in June next year and the club have not opened talks over a possible extension.
Lindelof previously played with new manager Ruben Amorim when the duo were together at Benfica. He was looking forward to the reunion, but may now be sidelined for a while.
His injury has probably come at the wrong time. Amorim is expected to play with three central defenders which would have opened the door for Lindelof to make the starting XI.
With Yoro having just returned to training after foot surgery, he may not be rushed back to action.
Lindelof’s absence could see Jonny Evans start alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
Martinez was sent back from Argentina duty with a back problem, but he is anticipated to be fit for the Ipswich game.
