Back from their Christmas break, the Eintracht players began their preparations for the rest of the 2024/25 season with performance tests and a session on the training pitch.
Only 12 days after facing 1. FSV Mainz 05 in their final game of 2024, the Eintracht Frankfurt players are already working up a sweat again at the ProfiCamp and on the training pitches outside Deutsche Bank Park. Preparations for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign began on just the second day of the new year, starting with the obligatory performance tests on Thursday morning. The Eagles squad underwent a number of different tests, all under the watchful eyes of the Eintracht coaching staff. One of the players involved was Jens Petter Hauge, who spent 2024 on loan at hometown club FK Bodø/Glimt before returning to Eintracht on 31 December. On Thursday afternoon, Hauge and his team-mates were back on the grass with the ball at their feet for the first time since the turn of the year, as head coach Dino Toppmöller gathered his players on the training pitch for the first session of 2025.
Toppmöller’s charges will train every day until Sunday 5 January, when they take on Mainz in a behind-closed-doors friendly and dress rehearsal for their return to Bundesliga action. Preparations for their first competitive fixtures of the year will be ramped up the following day, with Eintracht set to play three league games in the space of just seven days:
